The Haka!
This has often been described by Europeans as a Dance. It is not a dance. Yes, it’s loud and full of energy but the Haka is not a competition to see how loud you can shout, or what funny faces you can pull. The Haka is ultimately an expression of the potent energy we all possess deep within each and every one of us. In this reality it is frowned on to express any form of potency, or strength, and I wonder if this is why it has become such a curiosity here and around the world.
The Haka can be used to awaken energies before battle, pay tribute to a loved one who is celebrating an achievement, has just got married, or has died. The Haka will tell a story, it may tell how we are going to treat you... once we have killed you, and even how we intend to kill you...and even though we all know people we could do this to sometimes... it’s not common practice anymore.
Are you willing to explore and look at the potency you hide within you? What could you create in your life if you allowed yourself to be these energies... when required... to create , move, and even remove things from your reality that no longer meet your requirements..
The Haka we will be learning and doing was used by the New Zealand sports teams for many years and probably the most well-known of the many thousands of H
Haka from around New Zealand..
I invite you to come along and feel the energy of the Haka for yourself... the video below is my old high school....performing for a teacher who had died...as a tribute
Michi says this...Well let me just say what the HAKA was and did for me. It was a phenomenal day with amazing peeps, a lot of fun and I got a sense of how much power, magic and potency lives in all of us but we don't allow ourselves to have access to it and Greg always find ways to show that we are okay, the way we are, better than okay, that we are great, and that nothing about us is wrong. And also our potency and power is not wrong. It is a gift and a capacity to be more of us and to get what we really want...
