TheAlchemy of Gratitude and Joy
Have you ever wondered at the creativity of people around you. You know, observed those who are, and those who seem to not be. I love watching children using their imaginations to create fantasy or even things they desire, and they do it with such ease. What is that?
Well for me it seems that those who create with ease have two things going on for them in their lives… They are grateful for “Everything”, and they have a joy within that is simple, peaceful and quiet, as they “know” they can do, and create, anything. Can we all have or be that gratitude and joy? And if Yes, how can we find it and what will that create for us and our lives?
Intro night: We talk about my journey and how the things and people who showed me the joy of being helped me to get out of a wheelchair, to learn to speak again, and to begin a journey to self and awakening. This is also where we begin the process of connection and creating the space of gratitude for our “self”. We will use the Alchemy body process to help in this process of receiving and being each of the days of the class.
Day 1: Today we talk about and explore what it really means to have gratitude. For me, we cannot have joy in our lives if we have no gratitude in our hearts. Here we will explore what this really means and how it effects out lives and the way we are.
Day 2: Today is a day we explore Joy, what it is and what it actually means to us and how we perceive it in our lives and our body. Is joy the really loud laughter or is it that simple quiet knowing of who and what we really are? Most people find they smile more and actually see people differently as a result of this day…
During this class we will also find out that being full of gratitude and joy doesn´t mean that we will say Yes to everything and everyone. We actually will see that feeling this inner joy helps us to see who we really are and what we really want and how we can say No and still feel joy and peace inside of us. And invite more people and situations into our lives that we happily can say Yes to.
